Prospective graduate students and postdoctoral scholars interested in the AIAOS Lab’s research are encouraged to reach out about potential opportunities.
We welcome candidates with interests or experience in one or more of the following areas: animal breeding and genetics, precision livestock farming, statistical modeling, machine learning, and computer vision. Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Julia, C/C++, or Java is also beneficial.

Current open positions
Research Internship: AI-Based Precision Livestock Farming
Research internship opportunities for currently enrolled UF graduate students in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. Projects involve machine learning, computer vision, multimodal sensing, edge AI, and distributed AI using real-world livestock datasets.
Initially a volunteer internship, with potential future paid appointments based on research performance and continued involvement.
